Year 13 Celebration Evening

Our new Year 13’s enjoyed as evening of celebration with their peers, staff and parents’/carers’ yesterday evening as numerous awards were presented. Ms McDonnell, Head of Year 13 commended all on their tremendous work ethic throughout Year 12, dedication to revision sessions and continuing to live our ‘serviam values’ by supporting and participating in the many charity events we run/contribute to. Students received ‘Passion Awards’ and Attainment Awards’ across all subjects, presented to them by Mr Barton and our guest Nusrath Hassan

Nusrath then spoke to students about the opportunities awaiting them all beyond school and the importance of putting your values into action wherever your journey from school takes you.  She spoke inspirationally about the need to have the confidence to demand equality and to be proud of yourself in all you do.

Many thanks to Nusrath for taking the time to attend and pass on the pearls of her wisdom to our students!
