Geography Field Trip

As a compulsory part of their A level course (and in what was the coldest week of winter for the last 5 years) Mrs Hoban, Mrs Cecil and seventeen Year 12 students embarked on their residential field trip to Juniper Hall Field Study Centre in Dorking on 26 February until 1st March. From here they travelled out each day to conduct their investigations in the local area and at the coastal resorts of New Haven and Seaford in East Sussex.

Despite the blizzard conditions on the drive down the day turned out to be surprisingly pleasant and all students managed to get the work done. The students worked long and hard every day without complaint and had a great week. There is still lots of work to be done but we look forward to seeing the results of their efforts when the coursework is submitted in Year 13. Well done to all our Geography students for their resilience and commitment to the course!
